Logistics and support
You are responsible for getting yourself to one of the hotels in Uganda, your food and camping set up. The evening before, we will collect you from your hotel for the final meal and briefing (included). The morning we start to walk, we will collect you from your hotel and take everyone to our start point. From there, we will have a medical 4×4 coaster van and a kit assistance 4×4 coaster van to carry water and your surplus food. Two medics and a safety lead will accompany us.
The world record
Guinness World Records requires every participant to walk the entire advertised route under continuous, verified conditions. We will be accompanied by an official adjudicator, GPS-tracked, and supported by a stewarding team that logs each walker daily.
Pre-expedition safety briefing
One month before we fly, we run a mandatory initial safety briefing for all walkers. We cover how to care for yourself in tropical conditions, heat management, hydration and foot care, recognising early warning signs, and practical tips to keep you in top condition throughout the 27 days on the road.

Below are three different hotels, ranging in pricing, please book a room in one of these hotels so that we can all be within the same area for ease of bus collection. You are responsible for booking and paying for your own accommodation, we will arrange collection from these hotels for the final meal and briefing, and transport to the start point the following morning.
