The people behind the walk

Meet the team.

A small, experienced crew dedicated to getting 30+ walkers safely from border to border — and a couple of open roles for the right people to join us.

Security & oversight

Supported by experienced partners.

The security of the event is provided by PGS Solution alongside Secret Compass bringing professional risk management and expedition expertise to keep every walker safe.

PGS Solution

PGS Solution is a specialist event security firm with deep experience protecting large-scale gatherings, corporate events and complex operations across the Middle Eastern region. For Walk as One they will lead on end-to-end event security management — conducting detailed site and route assessments, building a tailored risk and safety plan, and ensuring full compliance with local health, safety and security regulations.

On the ground, their trained personnel will handle crowd management around start and finish points, VIP and team protection, liaison with local authorities, and discreet on-route security across all 27 days. Their proactive, low-profile approach means walkers can focus on the miles ahead while every safety detail is meticulously managed in the background.

Secret Compass

Secret Compass are world-class risk management specialists, best known for enabling the most ambitious expeditions, TV productions and film shoots in some of the planet's most challenging environments. They provide the oversight, expertise and calm judgement that make complex journeys possible.

For Walk as One, Secret Compass will oversee expedition risk management — contributing to safety planning, providing expert consultancy on remote and tropical environments, and supporting medical and logistical decision-making across the full 27-day route. Their experience ensures every walker is backed by proven expedition-grade safety standards from start to finish.
